Features and Specifications:

• 18" x 6" Max. capacity, Coupled Drive Fixed Bed Double Surfacer with 60 HP - 3,600 RPM top head OPD motor, 50 HP - 3,600 RPM bottom head ODP motor.
• Equipped with: Newman "QuietCut" Spiral Carbide Cutterheads on the top and bottom.
• (4) Feed rolls, top infeed roll and top outfeed roll each with (3) pneumatic tires mounted on steel shafts; top roll yokes are pivoted from frame allowing stock variations and quick roll raising; (2) idle bottom rolls mounted on ball bearings.
• (2) Pivot mounted top feed rolls each with (3) pneumatic tires (three on infeed and three on outfeed) that are 16" in dia. with over 1-1/2" independent yield.
• (1) 6" Dia. steel idle infeed bottom roll and (1) 12" dia. steel idle outfeed bottom roll.
• Infinite variable feed from self-contained hydraulic drive system; 20-HP hydraulic pump motor, feed speeds 40 - 150 FPM.
• Sectional top head chipbreaker with 3" wide sections, with hardened steel toe pieces.
• Cutterhead brakes, dust hoods, outfeed bottom roll equipped with roll scraper.
• Freestanding standard control panel equipped with full voltage starters for motors and fuses for line protection.
• 24" x 17" hydraulic powered belt conveyor.
• Mellott Hydraulic powered pinch Roller
• 84" x 90" Cross transfer deck w/ 7-chains
• Additional set of Helical carbide cutters
